I have written some historical context for the two featured Irish factions within the mod. The other is the Kingship of Tara, conglomeration of kingdoms under the rule of a High King. I wrote extensive details on it. Posted in historic discussion.

OUTDATED NO LONGER A INDEPENDENT FACTION Kingdom of Munster ( referred also as the Munster-Mide Confederation) Leaders: Ólchobar mac Duib-Indrecht, Artrí mac Cathail, Ólchobar mac Cináeda , Cenn Mugthigirn, Cellachán Caisil, Flann Sinn (King of Mide) Best Unit: Gaeceitherne (Light Infantry, fast and known for ambushes with their javelins), Airig Claimhteoir (Heavy Infantry - Swordsmen), Fianna (Warband Ranged Cavalry; Usually sent ahead for scouting and ambushes), Tuath Dé Caomhnóir* (Tuath Dé Danann meant "tribes of the Gods" - This translates to Preserver of the Gods.) *Fierce, fast religious units, weilding sword and shield or axe and under the direct control of the tribes' Druids and their commands from their Gods. Wore wolf-skin and likely with their fighting ways and tactics, the Vikings came to believe they were Berserkirgang. Religion/Culture: (Gaelic/Celtic Pagan Faction) Strengths: Units are fast and Munster is known for their quantity over quality; cheaper cost light units). Field all round capable units for raids on unsuspecting cities. Their lumberjacks work harder and thus timber production increased. Weakness: Archers are quick but less-than-formidable in other areas. They do better with Javelins, on foot and horseback, than they do with the Bow. They prefer it too, but can wield a bow capably. Their economy (aside from timber) is not quite as strong as the Kingship of Tara. Their navy's weak comparably, but they could make up for it with the passionate vassals who want to see a lord of the Southern Kingdoms on the throne, not the Dynasty which seats the throne at this time.

Allies: Kingdom of Mide: the Kingdom of Mide is a close ally to the Kingdom of Munster, so-much so that they are also referred as the Munster-Mide Coalition and as such provide their own offenses to the cause (tough but slow heavy spearmen and stronger archers among others.) Historically, Mide is an ancient kingdom. A proud kingdom. One of whom oppose the current dynasty, along with their allies. They even kept the peace, being with Ivar the Boneless and his kingdom of Dyflin at times and had little quarrels as long as they stayed in their territory and did not attack the Munster-Mide coalition. - Mide is an essential part of the Munster revolt, being north of Munster and having to deal with many battles alongside their Munster ally. Hopefully this can lend to Mide having units within MunsterClient States:
Tribes of Osraige: The tribes of Osraige work with the Ui Imair as a client state in exchange for a defensive pact. They focus on cavalry, providing raiding opportunities for the coalition and provide Munster with defense in the form of powerful towers/outposts with wider range lookouts.

Uí-Imair Dynasty The Uí-Imair Dynasty, under the rule of the High King Ímar - the infamous Ivar the Boneless, were the opposing faction to the Uí Néill dynasty of Aileach: seated on the Kingship of Tara. Above is more information on the Kingdoms of Munster and Mide; along with these two powerful allies is the kingdom of Ossory. Leaders: High King Ímar, Sigtryggr Gále, Ólhobar mac Duib-Indrecht, Artrí mac Cathail, Ólchobar mac Cináeda , Cenn Mugthigirn, Cellachán Caisil, King Flann Sinn (King of Mide) Best Units: Gaeceitherne (Light Infantry, fast, known for ambushes with their javelins), Airig Claimhteoir (Heavy Infantry - Swordsmen) Fianna (Warband Ranged Cavalry; Usually sent ahead for scouting and raiding), Tuath Dé Caomhnóir* (Preserver of the Gods.) *Fierce, fast relifious units, weilding sword and shield or axe and under the direct control of the tribes' Druids and their commands from their Gods. Wore wolf-skin and likely with their fighting ways and tactics, the Vikings came to believe they were Berserkir. Gallóglaigh (Irish Gallowglass) - Gaelic-Viking units which are formidable warriors indeed. They are typically well-armoured and wield battleaxes, or heavy weaponry in general. Religion/Culture: (Celtic/ Norse Pagan Faction) Strengths: Units are fast, known for their quantity over quality; cheaper cost light units. Field all round capable units for raiding as opposed to the better equipped warriors of the Uí Néill. Lumberjacks work harder and thus timber production increased. Nonetheless Their navy would be a weakness, however they make up for it with aid from the Vikings. Their guerilla tactics are near unmatched, and their ships are supplied from the new High King. Weakness: Overall weaker, though quicker units than the Kingship of Tara. Their economy (aside from timber) is not near as strong as Tara's however, and that must be rectified.

Everything will be adjusted accordingly. mentions of the Kingdom of Munster, and the Munster-Mide coalition still stand. Munster and Mide are bigger, and unless Ivar's army is there, stronger than Leinster - home of Dyflin and under the rule of ímair Ragnaron - Ivar Ragnarson.

Added Strength: Due to ties with Sudreyar, their Galloglass, or to the Irish Gallóglaigh - Gaelic-Viking units are formidable warriors indeed. They are typically well-armoured and wield battleaxes, or heavy weaponry in general. As is every faction the original outline is a WIP
