A Wonder is a massive and costly construction, meant primarily to display your civ's prowess in non-belligerent fields. Build enough of them with your allies, and you can achieve a Wonder victory, so long as this sort of victory is available in your game.
Seventeen Wonders are available for this mod, and differ wildly in their Wonder Point (WP) allocation - as well as other functions - toughness, building costs, and special abilities. While seemingly expensive ones like the Eiffel Tower are meant primarily to force Wonder victories through economic might, others have lower WP contributions, yet are easier to build, thus allowing for different methods of strategy - either through achieving a Wonder Point victory through diplomacy, or as a supplement to a hard power strategy by providing access to special units.
Fallen Giants replicates a couple of vanilla wonders - Pyramids, Zijincheng, Lal Qila, Versailles, Angkor Wat, Taj Mahal, Kremlin and Eiffel Tower - and while these can be built upfront, they however are restricted on a nation by nation basis. But where the other ones are not included, they have been replaced with Wonders from Age of Darkness: 1917, and subject to the same political requirements (save for the Decryption Station which is buildable up front). Some of these Wonders, however, are also restricted by nation, such as the Jaswant Thada and Crystal Palace - the British Empire cannot erect both Wonders in a single game due to political requirements.

While most factions can obtain Wonder victories with shrewd resource and Worker management, some factions however have some clear Wonder advantages due to national restrictions on some Wonders that prevent them from being built by other nations. These are the British, Germans, Russians, Soviets, Japanese, French, Ukrainians and of course, the Chinese factions - Fengtian, Zhili and the Republic. Of these, the British Empire has many Wonders, albeit not being able to build all of them (ie it must pursue certain Governments and Policies if it wants to build the Jaswant Thada (Hierarchy required) or the Crystal Palace (Liberalism required), it can't build them in the same game) and as a result, the British in a game of Fallen Giants can have immense control as a major diplomatic faction thanks to the vast numbers of Wonders it can build.
